Causes
The exact reason for lymphoma is not known. But the problem starts when the disease-fighting white blood cells known as lymphocyte develops genetic mutation. Due to this, the cells multiply themselves which results in lymphocytes disease to multiply itself.
Due to mutation, the cells continue to live whereas other normal cells would die. This results in too many ineffective lymph nodes and it makes the spleen, liver, and lymph nodes swell.
Well, there are a few risk factors that can increase the chances of developing this disease. It includes personage, impaired immune system, infection (Epstein-Barr virus and Helicobacter), and the chances of developing this disease are high in males.
